COS will be hosting its First Generation College Celebration. It will come into effect from November 7th to November 8th, 2023 with a very special guest, and a meet & greet with First-Gen Staff and Faculty.
On November 7th, 2023 from 11:30 am to 2:00 pm, TikTok star, Leo Gonzalez will enter the doors of the Ponderosa Lecture Hall here at COS for a First-Gen Talk with students, staff, and faculty. He will be sharing the career and education experiences he has encountered throughout his journey. A meet & greet will follow right after his talk.
On November 8th, 2023 from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm, First-Generation Staff and Faculty will be doing a meet & greet to share the wonderful experiences they have encountered in getting their education. All students are welcome whether they are First-Gen students or if they would just like to come and learn what it means to be one.
