COS fashion students are lighting up the runway this spring after weeks of preparation for the department’s annual fashion show. This year’s theme, Under the Neon Lights, brings together bright color palettes, eye-catching textures, and playful design elements like ruffles and bold shapes. The show will take place on May 12 at 6:00 p.m. in the COS Theater, with free admission open to the public.
The event highlights the creativity and technical skills of students across multiple courses, including Beginning Sewing, Intermediate Sewing and Advanced Sewing. In addition to class projects, the runway will feature original collections from student designers, each interpreting the neon theme in their own unique way.
In the weeks leading up to the show, students have been working behind the scenes to bring their designs to life. From developing concepts and refining garments, to coordinating visual details like hair, makeup, and media content, the process reflects both collaboration and creativity, offering a glimpse into the work behind each look before it reaches the runway.
As the final pieces come together, the show promises a vibrant display of student talent and innovation.
