Maribel Pasillas-Velasquez is a fashion merchandising & design major with a minor in journalism who believes fashion and media go hand in hand. This is her second semester contributing to the campus newspaper, and she’s excited to see how the experience will help her grow creatively and build new skills. Maribel is entering her final semester at College of the Sequoias and is planning on transferring to CSULB to continue her studies in fashion merchandising. Maribel hopes to pursue a career in fashion marketing, styling, or public relations, where both creative and business skills can come together. In her free time, she enjoys reading, listening to music, crafting, and thrifting.
