If you can spare a new toy, you can spread the joy! College of the Sequoias Student Senate invites you to collect any new, unwrapped toys to be donated at the Visalia campus for children in need, at the GIANT Christmas Party & Toy Drive. This is the season of giving, and all COS Giants are invited to meet at the Visalia quad to donate a new toy and enjoy cookie decorating, hot chocolate, baked sweet bread, and DIY holiday cards on December third and fourth from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.. Students will be free to enjoy music, treat bags, hot tamales, champurrado, food trucks and vendors selling customized cups, jewelry, graphic t-shirts, sweaters and more.

Students and faculty are all encouraged to come spread some holiday cheer and fun by brightening up the Christmas spirit in the families and mainly the children who need it most. Drop-off boxes for toy donations will be placed at the Visalia, Tulare and Hanford campuses; the toys being donated must be new and unwrapped. You can enjoy the rest of the holiday fun tomorrow at the same place and same time!

With the semester and finals coming to an end, everyone is welcome to come relax, bring a friend, family and enjoy our GIANT Christmas Party and Toy Drive while they still can. So don’t just enjoy the feeling of donating a new toy, enjoy a little shopping and the tasty sweets at the Visalia Campus Quad on December fourth at 10am-1pm.
