On April 9th, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Visalia campus quad, the College of the Sequoias Dream Club will be hosting their Spring Fundraiser. The Dream Club on campus provides assistance and support for students on campus that are undocumented who identify as DACA, DREAMers, or are AB 540 eligible. The club provides a safe space and informs their club about ongoing immigration issues and residency. Dream also offers community resource information regarding DACA and legal services.
The club is fundraising to recover funds from last semester and to raise money for their upcoming spring semester field trip next month to Disneyland in Anaheim.
At the Spring Fundraiser, the Dream Club will be selling various kinds of goods, including handmade crochet bunnies, mini crochet baskets, handmade earrings, homemade pastries, and tamales! The event will also feature the community loved taco stand, Tacos Los Chicharos, if you’re looking for a snack throughout the day.
So, if you’re a student looking for something to do in between your classes, or you’re looking for a way to support your COS community, come stop by the Dream Club’s Spring Fundraiser!
