As of Feb. 25, the College of the Sequoias has mailed all supplemental student support checks to all students enrolled in 3 or more units. Here’s what those students can expect.

These funds include a $250 bookstore voucher and a $1000 Visa card. According to the school, the Visa cards can be used for purchases on and off campus and can be cashed out at ATMs.

Students should expect their card in the mail sometime in the next week. Be sure to check your BannerID to confirm your mailing address, as it will be sent to the one on file. Those who don’t have a Social Security number or have a PO Box as their mailing address will have to go to the Cashiers’ Office to receive their card.

If you have problems receiving, activating, or using your Visa cards, you can contact the Cashiers’ office by phone or email. You can also find information about supplemental funds and eligibility at the College of the Sequoias website.
