COS had their first ever Gala Night with the theme “A Night at the Oscars” on April 19th from 7-9 p.m. on campus at the Moro Gym. According to the COSGIANT Instagram, “The event was held to help support the community and bring awareness to Family Services in support of sexual abuse and sex trafficking victims.”
The food was catered by our very own Culinary Arts Program which was decadent and very flavorful. They had a Photo Booth, 360 photos, a live DJ, and different backgrounds to do your own photos in front of. At the end, Will Hobbs, who helped create the event, presented a $3,000 large check to Family Services of Tulare County from the COS Foundation Board. An overall successful night with lots of fun, food and dancing.
