Gas Prices Sky Rocket

In the recent months of the year, local gas stations have increased their prices for gas by two dollars.

The reason for this major rise is due to the U.S’s enacting a trade stop with Russia with recent events involving Ukraine. The purchases of oil are no longer available to the United States fuel line, making the usage of gasoline, publicly, a difficult one to maintain.

California’s gas prices are currently about $6.00 a gallon and higher. Yet in February, gas prices were as low as almost $4.00 a gallon.

Overall, California currently reaches the highest gas cost compared to the other 49 states. The nation wide average only reaches a little over $4.00 a gallon. Though, this may be low in comparison, this takes effect on states with lesser wage earnings.

The nation has no current outcome on the return to a nominal cost for gasoline.
