Hi, my name is Ryan Mansker. I am from Exeter, California, this is my second year at COS, and my first year writing for the newspaper. I'll be covering some of the sports stories here on campus, showcasing COS athletics. I am majoring in sports broadcasting to be able to cover professional sports in the future. Ever since I was younger, sports have been the centerpiece of my life. I grew up as a Falcons, STL Cardinals, and Celtics fan. Sports brought my family closer, I made friends through sports connections, and football is talked about daily in my life. While writing for the paper, I hope to keep students in the loop with the performances put on by their sport teams here at COS.
