Are you looking for a heartwarming film to watch? If so, Netflix’s newly released movie Operation Christmas Drop is worth the watch. Operation Christmas drop is a real event that takes place around the Christmas holiday. This event brings joy to a lot of people’s lives.

This film stars The Holiday Calendar’s Kat Graham as Erica, The Hunger Games’ Alexander Ludwig as Andrew, and Red Riding Hood’s Virginia Madsen as Congresswoman Bradford. Each actor fit their role very well, and delivered amazing performances. Netflix has always done a great job with casting for their films.

This film follows a young woman named Erica who is told by her boss to travel to an air force base around Christmas time. Her assignment is to find reasons to defund the base. The base she is attempting to defund is one of the main air force bases that carries on the tradition of operation Christmas drop.

The set design used in this film was unique because they combined Christmas with the beach. This was done because the air force base in the movie was along a beachside. For example, instead of putting a traditional star at the top of her Christmas tree, the main character put a starfish. Christmas was celebrated, but with a twist.

Operation Christmas Drop is rated TV-G, and has 6.0/10 stars according to IMDb.com. This film is considered a romantic comedy.

This film portrays the true meaning of Christmas, and for this reason along with many others is unforgettable.
