The COS Math Lab is open and available for help!

The Math Lab is important, especially since midterms and projects are coming up. COS is offering help from instructional specialists, trained student tutors, and math faculty. Math lab can also help with homework assignments. COS wants their students to succeed, and this is one way to help with that.

You can make an appointment with this number: (call or text is available) 559-429-5512. They are available to answer your messages Monday-Thursday from 8am – 5pm. Math lab appointments are available Monday-Thursday 8am – 8 pm. Fridays are from 8am – 4 pm. Saturdays are from 10 am – 2 pm.

All appointments take place on Zoom. If you would rather not make an appointment, you can drop-in through Zoom on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 10am – 12pm. Do not hesitate to make an appointment or drop-in if you need help.

Not only is Math Lab being offered to help students, but also office hours with your math teacher. You can always schedule an appointment with them at their assigned hours for any extra help you may need. These appointments will also be over Zoom.

Your teacher should send out the link in an announcement. If you are somebody who does not prefer talking over Zoom, you can always email your teacher with any questions you may have. Again, do not hesitate to contact somebody if you need help! There are many different people mentioned above you can contact. Having this help will greatly improve your experience in any kind of math class you are taking.
