They say you have to love what you do in order to live a happy life. I recently got to experience this feeling this week when I started selling eyelashes. 

Beauty and makeup have always been a passion of mine. Ever since I can remember I loved makeup and business has always been in my blood. I’ve always wanted to start my own business – maybe a beauty line or something of that nature, however recently I wanted to try out something new. 

I bought eyelashes at a wholesale price in L.A. I posted my products on Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, and even OfferUp. My customers went crazy over them. I made a little more than what I invested. I bought 40 pairs for $45 and sold the lashes 2/$8.

As of right now, I am gratefully sold out. I admit I should’ve upped the price a bit, but I really enjoyed selling them. The best part was that I didn’t feel annoyed or as if I was doing a job. I was doing something I love which is a great feeling. 

I made over $100 in one day doing what I love.  I’m going to keep selling eyelashes until I save enough to start my own line.  

I wish everyone could feel what I felt. The adrenaline I got with each sale I received was amazing. Everyone deserves to feel this way. 

If you feel that something is for you – do it. Start a side hustle selling something you love. Don’t let fear get in the way.
