No matter who they are or where they’re from college students will struggle with money.

At COS, The Student Activities and Affairs have special coupon books for any college students. The Visalia Community Saver Dining & Entertainment 2019-2020 booklet includes savings from A & W, Amigo’s, Auto oil Changers, Azul Mexican Grill, Baskin Robbins, Big Kahuna Frozen Yogurt, Black Bear Diner, Carl’s Jr., Denny’s, Dickey’s Barbecue Pit, Figaros’s, IHOP, Mama K’s, Diner, Mountain Mike’s Pizza, Subway, and Visalia Adventure Park.

College students can get these special deals by either paying a $15 dollar fee, which students might have automatically paid for when taking a semester of 6 units or more.

The books can be purchased at the cashiers windows in the South Sequoia Building.

Students can also pay a $15 dollar fee for a Student Activity Benefit Sticker. This Sticker, on your ID card has many benefits including a coupon book with no charge. This Sticker also gets you into all of the sporting events for free (Unless they’re playoff games). There are also discounts at all of the COS events for arts and entertainment and a student Amazon Prime and can get you free shipping on all of your purchases.

“[These discounts] saves students hundreds of dollars” said Debbie Douglass, the Director of Student Activities and Affairs.

You can also use your ID and get a discount on flights and on the Amtrak, you can save 15%.
