Roy Kendall, Campus Staff Writer
Born on a farm in 1947, near Lemoore, California, Roy Kendall is an immigrant from Kings County. He moved to the big city of Visalia, population 15,000 in 1956, after the big flood of 1955. Kendall majored in Cross Country, Wrestling, and Track at Mt. Whitney High. He graduated in 1966 and enlisted in the US Air Force for 3 years, 9 months, 18 days. Kendall has been and still is busy as a real estate broker and want-a-be journalist. He has graduated from COS and is now pursuing a second degree in Journalism and History. Kendall’s goal is to become a Special Education instructor. He is married since 1979 and has 2 grown children and 2 grandsons. Currently, he is working on a rewrite of The Crucible, by Arthur Miller. The plot is to bring the story to 2025. Kendall enjoys hiking, reading history and memoirs, and photography.
