Genisis Olalde is currently in their third year at College of the Sequoias. She is majoring in Psychology but has taken an interest in Journalism and social activism. This is her first year working with the Campus Journal. Genisis very frequently reads through a variety of different new outlets to stay up to date on anything that’s happening politically, socially, environmentally, etc. This semester she wants to step out of her comfort zone to try new things on campus and off. She has a range of different hobbies and interests that usually involve unwinding and relaxing like reading, drawing, playing video games, and writing. Since this is her last year at COS she is eager to transfer to a four-year university. However, she is still in the process of figuring out what she wants in her future- academically, career-wise, and personal life. Although she is more on the introverted side, she is motivated to become more adventurous.
