Aaron Rothkopf is a second year Journalism professor at College of the Sequoias. Prof. Rothkopf has been in education for more than 15 years and has taught a variety of classes from dual enrollment and concurrent Journalism classes with high school juniors and seniors to upper-level Journalism classes.

Before making the move to education, Prof. Rothkopf worked for ten years in television as a news producer. He produced newscasts for all three major television networks along the West Coast and won three EMMY awards and an Associated Press award for his work.

Originally from Arcadia, California, Prof. Rothkopf holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from California State University, Sacramento and Middlesex University in London, England and a Master of Science degree in Broadcast Journalism from Boston University.
