Attention all College of the Sequoias students and faculty! Looking for something to do in town? Visalia Rawhide is officially in season, with opening weekend having just ended on April 6th. Just down the street from the Visalia campus, the ballpark is located at 300 N Giddings Street. From Tuesday to Saturday games start at 6:30 pm, while on Sunday they start at 2:00 pm. Gates open an hour before each game, and full season ticket holders get into the park 15 minutes earlier, during which they can use their special discounts.
Opening weekend had its own promotions to go with it; from jersey giveaways, to a firework show after the Saturday game. This is in addition to the day of the week specials, where on Taco Tuesdays there’s 2-for-$6 Tacos at the On Deck Grill, and $7 Pacifico and Modelo products. For Wine & Whiskey Wednesday, there’s specialty bratwursts at the On Deck Grill, and $7 on all wine and select whiskey products. Then there’s 559 Thursday, where all drinks are $5.59 plus tax until the game time, while Coors Light, Pacifico, Ultra, and Estrella will be $5.59 for the whole game. On Fridays there’s the 4 for $44: four hot dogs and four sodas for $44. For All American Saturday, guests can purchase two of any Bud, Bud Light, or Michelob Ultra products for $17.76, but you must purchase two to activate. Sundays have their $8.50 kid’s meal, which includes a choice of two chicken tenders, a hot dog, or nachos, with a bottled Coca-Cola beverage and a bag of chips.
So if you are looking for fun way to enjoy your upcoming spring break or your summer break, look no further than baseball games at Visalia Rawhide! The season goes by fast, so be sure to catch a game by the last week of August before the season ends.
