After a perfect 28-0 regular season and a deep run in the playoffs, College of the Sequoias Women’s Basketball season has come to an end. On March 15th, the Giants faced off against Mt. SAC for their final four matchup to qualify for state. The game was intense and competitive from the beginning.
Both teams were fighting tooth and nail in the first half, showcasing a dominating defense and well-orchestrated offensives. Despite both teams giving their all, the Giants led the match 29-28 into half time. After the break, both teams continued to keep their competitive spirit with neither team giving an inch. That was until the fourth quarter where the Mounties were able to crush the Giants 57-50.
Despite the loss, the COS Women’s Basketball team found great success this year and showcased signs of a bright and promising future next season.
