College of the Sequoias is a diverse campus with people coming from all walks of life. With that comes many different opinions and ideas which is what makes this campus so open and lively. However when opinions clash it can create discourse in a community if not handled properly. Student Senate member Steven Walker is launching a new club aiming at fostering meaningful dialogue amongst students with diverse viewpoints.
The club, inspired by the Builders Movement and BridgeUSA, seeks to create spaces where individuals with conflicting perspectives can come together to find common ground and engage in constructive conversations. If you are a student leader or simply passionate about creating a campus where diverse opinions and ideas thrive, the Building Bridges Club is for you! The club is currently seeking founding officers and members interested in promoting civil discourse, student leadership, and a positive campus culture.
If that resonates with you, visit the Building Bridges Instagram page (@cos.buildingbridges) or fill out the form below to apply to be a member or an officer. https://forms.gle/Ny4KaTGTSfpKqHN78
