College of the Sequoias Performing Arts Department is presenting the Tony-Award winning musical: Shrek the Musical. If you enjoyed the animated motion picture, then you might also enjoy this musical adaptation. The show features all our favorite characters, as it explores a heartwarming journey of friendship, internal and external conflict, and true love.
Performances are taking place at the COS Theatre Auditorium on the Visalia Campus. This production is based on the play produced on Broadway by DreamWorks Theatricals, and Neal Street Productions.
The production is rated G for all audiences, making it perfect for family or casual viewing. Ticket prices are $26 for general audiences, $24 for seniors, and $22 for students. Showtimes for this performance will take place in mid-March. The performance will be on Thursday the 13th , Friday the 14th , and Saturday the 15th . The second performance will be on Thursday the 20th, Friday the 21st , and Saturday the 22nd.
The performance on Thursday, March 20 will feature ASL interpretations for Deaf and Hard of Hearing (HOH) viewers along with an Audience Talkback after the show. On this day, tickets will be $12 for students of all ages. The performance on Friday, March 21 will also feature ASL Interpretation, but tickets will be regular price.
