Courtesy of the United Farm Workers Foundation, students, staff, and faculty at College of the Sequoias have access to free immigration legal services! The workshops officially started on January 9th and will continue throughout the spring semester until May 19th! The UFW Foundation’s Community College Project is offering services from highly qualified attorneys and accredited representatives in multiple languages including, English, Spanish, Mixteco, Mandarin, and more.
Services include Adjustments of Status, Naturalization Applications, Immigration Eligibility Consultations, family-based Immigration Applications, DACA Renewals & First-time Applications, various Visa Services, Background Checks & FOIA, Requests/Reviews, and much more.
Students, faculty, and staff are able to join in-person on the Visalia campus from 9AM to 5PM in the Educational Support Services Building in Room 126. In-person workshops will be available on January 28th, February 25th, March 25th, April 22nd, and May 8th. People are also able to use these services online on February 13th, March 13th, April 10th, and May 19th.
