Welcome back Giants! Starting on January 13th, 2025, all three of the College of the Sequoias campuses will be open for the 2025 spring semester. A whole new semester of sports games, midterms, campus events, and more!

With the beginning of the spring semester also comes a ton of back-to-school events! Kicking it off at the Hanford Campus with their Spring Welcome Week! Starting on January 13th through January 16th, the Hanford Campus will have multiple events to welcome back students. On January 13th and 14th, stop by either the HUB or the Admin building to receive a free donut!  Then on January 15th, The Avenue will be hosting a painting event with free goodie bags from 10AM to 12PM. To end the week on the 16th, The Avenue will be having a key chain making station from 10AM to 12PM. Along with a Resource Fair happening from 10AM to 12:30PM.

Meanwhile the following week, the Tulare Campus will be having their own Welcome Week! On January 21st from 11AM to 1PM, Tutorial Services and the Library on the Tulare Campus will be having free tacos! Meet your tutors and your librarians and enjoy some free food! The next day on January 22nd in Building B, get a free sweet treat when you meet with your financial aid assistant! Sweet treats and drinks will only be available from 11AM to 1PM! Then on Thursday, January 23rd, The Bookstore will be hosting a vision board day! From 8AM to 5PM, set the tone for your semester with an aesthetically pleasing mood board and a free coffee. Come get all your free goodies while they last, as all freebies are first come first serve!

While the Visalia Campus is not having any particular events to launch the spring semester, watch out for Club Rush! Club Rush will be happening in the next couple of weeks on the Visalia Campus, for more information, be sure to look out for an article from the Campus Journal!
