Registered voters in College of the Sequoias (COS) Trustee Ward 4 will elect a district representative in the November 5 General Election.
Ward 3 was initially on the ballot, with incumbent Raymond Macareno as a candidate. Due to Macareno running unopposed, he is considered to be appointed in lieu of election.
The district is divided into five wards, or trustee areas. Each ward elects a representative to serve on the Board on their behalf.
The Board of Trustees is responsible for creating district policy, managing the budget, authorizing employment, implementing curriculum, and making contract decisions.
