During the months of November and December, there’s a lot of children that will go without receiving any gifts this holiday season.

Whether that’s because their families can’t afford it, they’re in foster care, or anything else, this season, students at the College of the Sequoias can donate to the Student Senate’s toy drive to give a child a gift.

Drop-off boxes for toy donations will be placed on the Visalia, Tulare, and Hanford campuses. The gifts donated must be new and unopened.

The flyer includes a toy list separated by ages and states, “Donations of all kinds will be accepted. The list is to give an idea of toys within the age range. COS Student Senate appreciates your donations.”

The Student Senate will also be hosting a campus event that will take place on December 2nd from 10 am to 1 pm on the Visalia campus.

The event will include music, games, and an ugly sweater contest.
