The Access and Ability Center and Work Ability Program sponsored a Career & Resource Fair October 2.
Around 70 communities and companies from all over the state provided information about their perspective career & internship opportunities as well as to provide information people may not know about their organization.
Vocational Instructor John Pierre, Teacher Caleb Brown and Facilities Assistant Susana Garcia with the Federal bureau of prisons recruiting for correctional officers positions and bringing awareness to their website.
Food vendors were also out providing snacks and meals during the event.
Ice, custard & happiness Rita’s was out selling desserts during the event.
Catering with Noel providing tacos & Aqua Frescas during the event.
Various law enforcement & military groups, including Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department, were out in full force.
“LA County is looking to hire 1000 deputies this year.” Deputy Hefler & Deputy Weber of the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department
Other local organizations like Adventist Health the Rook Agency were also out recruiting student for the new hiring season.
