College of the Sequoias presents “Let’s Dance”
College of the Sequoias will present a “Let’s Dance” dance concert on May 17 and 18 at 7 p.m. at the COS Theater.
Students from the Dance Department will be performing their own choreographed work that they had auditioned for earlier this semester. The Dance Team and the Cheer Squad will be performing their pieces as well. This show will have a mixture of tap, jazz, hip-hop and contemporary dance.
Imara Quiñones, a Dance Professor at the COS Dance Department, shares why students should attend the concert.
“ You want to support the arts and the COS community.” Quiñones said, “If you don’t know what dance is about, I think this would be a good educational experience, so you see what people do other than what you see on ‘So You Think You Can Dance’ or ‘ World of Dance.’ And it’s entertaining.”
General admission is $15 and $10 for students. Tickets can be purchased online through TicketLeap or at the COS Theatre Box Office (559) 730-3907.
