Yes Day Movie Review

Director Miguel Arteta has delivered an amazing family-friendly film titled Yes Day.

Yes Day was released on March 12 and is available to watch on Netflix. This film stars familiar actors such as Jenna Ortega as Katie Torres and Jennifer Garner as Allison Torres. Along with these actors, this film also stars Édgar Ramírez as Carlos Torres, Julian Lerner as Nando Torres, and Everly Carganilla as Ellie Torres. The actors did a great job at keeping up with the hectic yet entertaining storyline.

The story follows two parents who often use the word “no” but this changes for one full day when they only say “yes” to everything their children ask for. Whether it is a normal or crazy request, they still manage to fulfill it.

This film takes place in many different locations such as an ice cream parlor, amusement park, car wash, etc. These film locations improved the storyline tremendously and really brought the overall film to life. This film is in no way boring, and it will keep you entertained. As you are watching, you will feel as if you are present in the story. It is quite rare when a viewer feels apart of the film.

The costumes also match the storyline very well. Since the parents are not able to say no, their children pick out their clothing throughout the film. The first outfit they choose is the most memorable from the film and their youngest daughter chose it. The first outfit also sets the film into action and perfectly shows how the rest of the film is going to play out. It is going to be fun, memorable, and possibly even troublesome.

This movie is rated PG, and has 5.7/10 stars according to This is a great comedy film that you can watch as a family. Along with the comedy genre, the adventure genre also plays a big part in the film.

Yes Day is currently #1 on the top ten list on Netflix. It is a great watch for comedy film lovers.
