Job

2-D art professor of fine arts

Hobbies: Skateboarding, hiking, wilderness backpacking

Favorite book: Peaks and Passes of The High Sierra by RJ Secor

Why does he do his job?: Rangel is passionate about making art, contributing his creative voice to society, and is passionate about sharing with the students who want to do the same.

Years Spent Teaching: Rangel has been teaching art for well over ten years now.

Rangel’s opinion on art: “For me personally, I have always felt compelled to use visual language to communicate with regard  substantive issues like the human experience and the environment. Visual language is my preferred language and I am more fluent in it than any other language I have.” states Rangel.
