As apart of the new Career Services efforts students who need a job may want to check out https://cos.jobspeaker.com the  upcoming free app on campus, Jobspeaker allows students to gain skills and , apply for internships, track their career development progress and more.

Also a part of the new Career Services efforts Michael Niehoff the director of Career Services at COS will be launching “Wednesday’s World of Work.” Each Wednesday weekly by email to faculty and staff with some stories , data, trends, updates  and successes stories and more about what’s going on in the real world of jobs. “I really wanted to connect with faculty and staff about the rapidly changing work environment and how we can all work to support our students entering this new economy,” Niehoff said.

Earlier when asked the question what are the goals for  “Wednesday’s World of Work” Niehoff said, “So far now, it’s not really events. However, that being said, my goal is  to host events, have guest speakers or other professionals that students can connect to.”
