A Visalia premiere screening of The Last Brown Beret will be presented by C.H.A.P. on Thursday at 6 pm.

The film, which is written, produced and directed by Del Zamora, will have a pre-screening reception at 5 pm along with a Q&A session with members of the cast and crew.

C.H.A.P. (or the Cultural Historical Awareness Program) is also partnering with Students Empowered by Exposure to Diversity, ProYouth HEART, Tulare County League of Mexican American Women, and COS Puente Program to host this event. According to the event flyer, the COS C.H.A.P. program is an annual speaker and performance series designed to expose COS students and the broader community to a variety of intellectual and cultural topics vital to contemporary society. Each year, C.H.A.P. establishes a general theme, and invites speakers and performers from across professions and academic disciplines to share their work and scholarships.

The film premiere will take place on the COS Visalia Campus, in the Porter Field House, on March 15th at 6pm.
